Criterion Games has officially announced the price for the upcoming Legendary Cars DLC for Burnout Paradise. Gamers who hunger for choice can download each vehicle separately or together in a discounted package when they release on February 19. The Jansen 88 Special (you know, the not-so-subtle nod to the DeLorean) is priced at $3.99 / 320 , while each of the other three vehicles clock in at $1.99 / 160 a piece. The Legendary bundle will also be available for a discounted price of $7.99 / 600 .

Media Molecule, Insomniac head to Nordic Game Con

While last year was marked with a strong Japanese delegation, this year's coterie of speakers at the Nordic Game Conference is more of the Western variety. Media Molecule (LittleBigPlanet), Insomniac Games (Resistance series), Tigon Studios (anything that has Vin Diesel in it) and consultancy agency Englobe have all signed up to hold sessions at the conference in Malmö, Sweden on May 19 and 20.

Trophies to be patched into Tomb Raider: Underworld

Lara Croft may be a treasure hunter, but she came up empty handed in her quest for Trophies in the PS3 version of Tomb Raider: Underworld. This is to be remedied by way of an upcoming patch, says an Eidos community manager. According to a post on the game's official forums, Crystal Dynamics originally desired to have Trophy support included in the shipped game. "The guys at Crystal have been looking into this for a long time because they really wanted to include it," a community rep wrote. "The good news is that I can confirm that a patch for the PS3 version of Tomb Raider: Underworld is being worked on that will enable Trophy Support."

Joystiq at the Street Fighter IV Launch Party

By now you're probably tired of reading about slick Hollywood-based video game launch parties attended by C-list celebrities and wannabes who probably game about as much as your grandma. Capcom finally got it right by opening up the Street Fighter IV party to the public. The only problem was that so many people showed up for the event that the fire marshal ended up restricting access, and a lot of people went home without getting their game on.

Owners report Mad Catz SFIV FightStick defects

Just in time for the impending release of Street Fighter IV, owners of the standard MadCatz FightStick are reporting several problems with the peripheral. Reported on the Shoryuken.com forums (which seem to be overloaded as of press time), the various problems include the joystick itself sticking in certain positions and sticky buttons. Other users are reporting that the controller may fail to register certain directions on the stick or certain button presses, with at least one user reporting that the stick stopped registering all inputs entirely. Certain users have attributed the stuck joystick inputs to a metal washer that actually grinds away at the inner workings of the stick while in use.

This Week on the Nintendo Channel: My DoItAll

Tomy's My DoItAll may not be the most anticipated title on the DS, but it's kind of perfect for the Nintendo Channel's DS demo service. We're totally curious about the kid-friendly personal organizer "game" and its suite of activities, but not "pay money" curious. Now we can check it out for free, with no risk other than the possibility that we'll find it awesome and be forced to hide our enjoyment of a children's non-game from our Joystiq colleagues. Only sell your materials for a profit! It may seem like a no-brainer, but some people in their eagerness for acquiring SWG Credits will do anything to just make their sacks a little lighter. Be smart, don't take the first offer that comes along. These three things will take time to accomplish, but if you're patient from the start, once you reach level 60 you'll be flying high with a nice handful of cash, and have some serious crafting and trading skills that will help you to keep raking in the Star Wars Galaxies Credits. The problem is that most people want Star Wars Galaxies Credits and they want it now - that's just not realistic. Take your time from the start, make smart investments, and before you know it, you'll have more SWG Credits than you know what to do with!

MadWorld mows down North America on March 10

A Sega America representative has confirmed that MadWorld is ready to begin its reign of bloody action on March 10th on the Wii in North America. Oddly enough, the title still does not have an anticipated M-rating from the ESRB, despite having already passed both Austrailian and British rating boards. Try a few of these simple methods to earn your own SWG Credits, and you'll never have to consider forking over your hard-earned cash for someone else's Star Wars Galaxies Credits sale. Choose a gathering profession from the start: this way, you can start to make SWG Credits right away by gathering materials from dead animals or plants, and selling them off.
